At Universal Roof & Contracting, our associates want to do more than install new roofs! Each day, we look for ways to be a positive influence on our customers and in the city of Orlando. Through Universal Contracting Community Works (UCCW), we are eager to see restoration, healing and progress come to the lives of area residents by joining with organizations like True Life Choice.
So last Saturday, we joined hundreds of walkers among three Orlando, Florida locations to increase awareness and gain financial support for area families and this non-profit organization. Calculations are not yet complete, but so far, the Walk for Life 2014 has raised $49,000.
Founded in 1983, True Life Choice offers free pregnancy tests, options counseling and hotline, abortion recovery, & pregnancy and parenting classes. The Walk for Life on March 8th will raise awareness and funds to continue to bring help and hope to Orlando women and families. Walks will be held in three locations, and anyone is welcome to join. Online information and fundraising tools are readily available to those who want to participate in this important Walk for Life.
