COVID-19 Updates

We know that the COVID-19 pandemic is at the top of most people’s minds. We want to make sure past, current, and future clients understand how seriously we are taking this. The health and safety of our homeowners and employees is our top priority. We are following all CDC Guidelines to include:

  • Frequent handwashing/sanitizing prior and after all appointments
  • Practicing social distancing and limiting contact (including handshakes)

Roofing is an essential service. Our company is well prepared and is positioned to use electronic communication to adhere to the CDC’s guidelines about social distancing. The paragraphs below detail several changes we have made to the way we do business with our clients.

Evaluation Process – Our evaluation process is normally an intimate opportunity for our sales staff to hear our homeowner’s goals for their project while addressing any concerns. For the foreseeable future homeowners will have the option to choose between an indoor or outdoor sales appointment conducted at a distance, or a remote electronic conference with our salesperson. When scheduling the evaluation with our office, homeowners will be asked which appointment the homeowner would prefer. Regardless of which preference, we will still visit the home to physically perform a professional evaluation, but how we interact with homeowners will differ based on which preference is chosen.

In-person appointment – Our sales staff will notify the homeowner by phone/text they have arrived, will evaluate the roof, do a walkaround the perimeter, take pictures for the homeowner of any damage found. Will assemble the recommended course of action to solve the damage and have a few options on the direction the client can choose from. We will notify the homeowner by phone/text to come outside, and will then conduct the remainder of the appointment outside while adhering to the recommended 6 feet radius between staff and homeowner.

Remote appointment – Our sales staff will call or text the homeowner notifying them of their arrival, will evaluate the roof, do a full perimeter evaluation, take pictures of any found damage to share with the client. Leave the property to return to the office. We will then call by phone or utilize Zoom Meeting to go over the options with the homeowner.

Because of these difficult and unsure times, we are committed to putting the health of our clients and our employees first. If you have any concerns, please call your local office for more information.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued efforts at social distancing to slow the spread of this virus.
